Brian Thomas Jr. is having a whale of a season, and he made another splash on Saturday at Missouri with a 42-yard touchdown.
Thomas caught his 9th touchdown of the season for LSU with 6:00 remaining in the 3rd quarter to give LSU a 27-25 lead over Missouri. The Bayou Bengals roared back from an 8-point halftime deficit to score 10 points in the 3rd quarter.
Thomas now has 2 catches for 51 yards. Jayden Daniels has led the LSU offense to a 3-for-5 start passing for 74 yards in the 2nd half.

Thomas came into Saturday with 33 catches for 537 yards and 8 touchdowns, and he has 5 of them in his previous 2 games.
This is a bona fide breakout season for Thomas after he made 59 catches for 720 yards and 7 touchdowns in 25 games previously for LSU.
Thomas has proven to be a matchup problem alongside fellow LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, the Tiger’s other star receiver. Thomas’s ability after the catch is excellent, even though he didn’t need it on the latest score.
