Will there be college football in the fall?

That’s the million-dollar question hovering over the sports world at the moment but it isn’t much of a question if you ask Ed Orgeron.

The LSU coach was recently a guest on FOX News and was asked to share his take on the current status of the upcoming college football season.

“Our players want to play, I do believe the SEC wants to play,” Orgeron said on the air. “I do have to give it to our commissioner for waiting to get the most information and making the correct decision for our football team and I do believe he will make that.”

Later in the interview, which can be viewed in its entirety below, Orgeron was asked if there is a backup plan should college football not be ready to go in the fall.

As you could have expected, Coach O is not interesting in any backup plans.

“There is no Plan B here at LSU, we are going forward ahead,” Orgeron responded.
