The LSU Tigers just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to hurricanes.
A year after a hurricane forced the postponement of the LSU-Florida game, Hurricane Harvey is threatening to put the Tigers’ Week 1 matchup against BYU in jeopardy.
The game is supposed to take place in Houston at the Texans’ stadium, but on Friday, news broke that the Texans’ opponent in an upcoming preseason game — the Dallas Cowboys — offered to host the contest in Dallas instead:

How that game plays out will be of note to LSU, as they are scheduled to play at the same stadium in Houston only two days later:

The storm is expected to hit this weekend, and the extent of the early damage may be what ends up deciding whether the LSU-BYU game will be held.
As of now, the game is supposed to be held at 8:30 p.m. Central time on that Saturday, but obviously that could all change in the coming days.
Fortunately for the Tigers, they’re used to these sorts of scheduling concerns after last year.
