It’s been a rough couple of weeks for coach Ed Orgeron’s LSU Tigers.

After getting dominated in a 37-7 Week 3 loss at Mississippi State, the Tigers struggled to pick up a home win over Syracuse on Saturday night.

If you ask ESPN analyst David Pollack, LSU’s troubles are just getting started this year.

On SEC Smothered and Covered with Barrett Sallee on Monday, Pollack said he foresees the struggles continuing for Coach O’s squad in the coming weeks:

“I got news for you, and I said this on GameDay Saturday, LSU is going to lose at least four more games,” Pollack said. “This isn’t LSU that we are used to seeing. They are so thin on the defensive line, the offensive line. They just don’t… their recruiting has not been as good as people think it has been in the past. So I think they are going to struggle.”

This was Pollack doubling down on statements he made on College GameDay this weekend, when he also predicted at least four more losses for the Tigers:

With four SEC road games at Florida, at Ole Miss, at Alabama and at Tennessee remaining on the schedule, it’ll be a tough task for LSU to avoid more losses.

Add in a home schedule that still features games against Auburn, Texas A&M and Arkansas (as well as Troy this weekend) and Pollack may be proven right before all is said and done.
