LSU running back Derrius Guice is one of the most talked about players ahead of the 2017 season.

Most have Guice rated as the best running back in the SEC, and several have him as a major Heisman Trophy contender ahead of the season.

The Tigers just wrapped up spring practice with Saturday’s spring game, and questions still remain at quarterback, namely with Danny Etling. But there’s no denying who the leader is on this ball team: Derrius Guice.

The SEC Network tweeted out a video of the workout warrior squatting 583 pounds, and making it look easy.

After Leonard Fournette suffered through an ankle injury during the 2016 season, Guice ripped off an SEC-leading 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns.
