LSU is the No. 5 team in the country after its 5-0 start, which has been viewed as impressive by many.

ESPN college football analyst Desmond Howard, a former Heisman Trophy winner, doesn’t agree. During an appearance on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Friday, Howard shared what he thinks of the Tigers at this point in the season.

“LSU isn’t impressive, Alabama is impressive,” Howard said. “LSU is OK, they’ve won games and they’ve looked good, but they haven’t looked great. I’m not impressed by them. They are going to be challenged by Florida”

Although Howard isn’t impressed, many people are. The Tigers own wins over No. 8 Auburn and No. 17 Miami and have scored more than 30 points in all but one of their games. New quarterback Joe Burrow has led the dynamic offense.

Perhaps Howard’s opinion could change if LSU travels to Florida on Saturday and gets a win.

The Tigers and Gators are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
