Details about new LSU passing game coordinator Scott Linehan's salary revealed
The LSU Tigers hired longtime NFL assistant Scott Linehan to replace Joe Brady as the team’s passing game coordinator for 2020.
Now, per a report from Brody Miller of The Athletic, we know some details about what Linehan’s contract with the Tigers will look like.
As you can see in the tweet below, Miller reports that Linehan will make $800,000 per year for the next 2 years:
New #LSU passing game coordinator Scott Linehan's term sheet confirms he agreed to a two-year deal worth $800K per year, plus incentives. He owes LSU nothing if he goes back to the NFL or takes a head coaching job.

Interestingly, Linehan won’t have to return any money if he leaves to return to the NFL or takes a head coaching job somewhere.
Linehan has worked for most of his career at the NFL level, so we’ll see if he wants to make his way back to the pro ranks like Brady did following the 2019 season.
