Ed Orgeron is facing increasing pressure about his job status following LSU’s third loss of the season at Kentucky on Saturday.

He acknowledged it during a regular press conference on Monday, and added that he hasn’t had any discussions about his job and he understands the expectations because he was born with it.

“The best thing for me to do is be very positive, understand the expectations for LSU,” Orgeron said. “… No one has to tell me about the LSU expectations. … I understand this is not the LSU standard of performance. I understand my job. I get it totally. I know exactly where I’m at.”

Since LSU won the 2019 national championship following a 15-0 record, the Tigers have gone 5-5 last season, and are 3-3 this season. They face Florida on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
