The LSU Tigers landed the nation’s No. 1 2018 wide receiver in Terrace Marshall Jr., and they’ll try to develop him into the next Odell Beckham Jr. or Jarvis Landry.
And, according to coach Ed Orgeron, that process will get started sooner rather than later, as there will be big expectations on the incoming freshman.
On Wednesday, Coach O said he loves what he’s seen on tape from the 4-star receiver out of Bossier City, Louisiana, and expects him to have a role in the offense starting as a freshman in 2018:

According to the 247Sports composite, Marshall is the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2018 class, the No. 11 overall player and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Louisiana.
With 2017 star WR D.J. Chark leaving after this season, the Tigers will need a new receiver to step up in a big way next season. Marshall could very well be that guy.
