Ed Orgeron: I felt like a father with no presents on Christmas
LSU coach Ed Orgeron had a tough task Thursday afternoon: Telling the Tigers they wouldn’t get to play football on Saturday after the SEC announced the game with Florida had been postponed.
He described the scene as he only can when he addressed the media following AD Joe Alleva’s press conference:
O on how the players took the news: "It was like Daddy walked in on Christmas and had no Christmas presents." #LSU

Orgeron wasn’t exactly prepared for delivering the news:
#LSU coach Ed Orgeron: This is the first time it has happened in my career.

He went on to address how LSU will use the off date:
EO on silver linings: We're going to be out on the road recruiting and some of the guys get to go home.

O: "Got to turn it into positives. We need some rest." #LSU will spend much of Friday/weekend croot'n.
