Normally when the LSU Tigers are at home, they play night games, making Death Valley a rocking atmosphere.
However, this weekend will be a little different, as the Tigers have the CBS afternoon game when Auburn visits.
LSU and Auburn will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Central time, which makes many fans — who want to tailgate and pregame — upset.
During his Monday press conference, though, coach Ed Orgeron had a helpful suggestion for fans who want to get a buzz going before Saturday’s game (via The Advocate):
“Hopefully they can get up a little earlier and put a little something in their coffee,” he joked.
The Tigers are coming off a big win at Florida, so at least LSU fans are happy at the moment.
That should lead to a full house on Saturday afternoon, even if it will be fairly hot in Baton Rouge.
