Former LSU coach Les Miles will be back in Baton Rouge on Saturday afternoon to be honored along with the 2007 national championship-winning team he coached.

Just one year after being fired by the Tigers, though, it may be an awkward occasion for many involved.

However, current coach Ed Orgeron, who replaced Miles and is now the full-time coach, said he’ll be excited to see his former boss back at Death Valley:

Coach O’s Tigers picked up a big win at Florida last weekend, but another tough test looms against Auburn on Saturday afternoon.

If Orgeron’s squad can’t at least look competitive against a red-hot Auburn team, many LSU fans may be wishing Miles could come back and coach in Baton Rouge again.
