What Ed Orgeron said after LSU shutout BYU
The LSU Tigers got off to a hot start to the 2017 season by shutting out BYU 27-0.
With Hurricane Harvey forcing the game to move to New Orleans, it wasn’t a distraction for the players. Matt Canada’s offense piled up 479 total yards behind Derrius Guice’s 122-yard, two-touchdown performance. Danny Etling finished with an efficient 171 yards passing.
The Tigers’ defense suffocated the Cougars’ offense. BYU was held to 97 total yards and minus 5 rushing yards. That’s impressive.
