Ed Orgeron says top LSU defender unlikely to play in Week 3
Texas’ argument that LSU linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson faked an injury last week took a hit when Tigers coach Ed Orgeron said Chaisson probably won’t play this Saturday against New Mexico State.
Orgeron added during his Thursday press conference that Marcel Brooks and Damone Clark are expected to take Chaisson’s place.

It’s not clear what Chaisson is dealing with, but he was reportedly in a walking boot this week.
In two games this season, Chaisson has 10 total tackles, including five solos, one tackle for loss and one sack. He also has a quarterback hurry and one forced fumble. Last season, he only played one game because of a knee injury.
