The LSU Tigers’ 2019 recruiting class is one of the nation’s best, but it took a big hit on Tuesday night.

That’s because 4-star CB Marcus Banks has decided to decommit from the school and reopen his recruitment.

Banks, a Houston native, announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday night, as you can see below:

Per the 247Sports composite, Banks is the No. 29 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 33 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

After Banks’s decommitment, the LSU 2019 class now has 19 players and is currently rated No. 7 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
