One of the country’s most elite uncommitted prospects, offensive tackle Chidi Valentine-Okeke, is no longer on the market.

Valentine-Okeke unexpectedly committed to LSU Thursday, and he chose the Tigers over Alabama, Auburn and his home state Georgia Bulldogs.

He’s ranked as the No. 22 overall player and the No. 2 offensive tackle by 247Sports, but the composite rankings have him as the 102nd overall player and No. 5 offensive tackle. Regardless, LSU’s dominance along the line of scrimmage has been a staple during the Les Miles era.

LSU lost elite offensive tackle La’El Collins, but what better way to fill the hole than to land one of the best offensive linemen in the country.
