Prior to Saturday’s loss to Florida, LSU RB Leonard Fournette was spotted shoving a Florida assistant coach during a pregame scuffle.

Fournette, who wasn’t expected to play against the Gators, then asked to suit up for the game.

On Sunday morning, ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum and others debated whether Fournette should have been allowed to play.

In the above segment, Finebaum didn’t hold back, calling out interim head coach Ed Orgeron for letting Fournette play.

“I was just in shock at what I saw there,” he said. “I was for Ed Orgeron getting an opportunity, but he showed very poor leadership. The end of the game was classic Les Miles and he clearly will not be the head coach going forward. I’m still amazed that he would let Leonard Fournette talk him into it.”

Fournette was limited, rushing 12 times for only 40 yards. It remains to be seen if he’ll play against Texas A&M on Thanksgiving.
