Former LSU star CB Tre’Davious White has made a name for himself in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills.
Though he considered opting out of the 2020 season, he has since decided to play, and now he has a new contract, too.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, White is signing a 4-year, $70-million contract extension with a whopping $55 million guaranteed:
Bills are giving CB Tre'Davious White a four-year, $70 million extension, including $55M guaranteed, source tells ESPN. Total value of deal is $82.1M.
White is doing his deal after three years, which makes it even more striking. He is 25 years old and could hit the market again. https://t.co/5CCtjsu5WW

Per Schefter, the contract is the most money ever guaranteed to a cornerback, making it a record-setting new deal:
The $55 million in guaranteed money given to Buffalo’s Tre'Davious White is the highest guarantee given to a CB. His new money average also is the highest.
White’s agents, Kevin Conner and Robert Brown, from @UniSportsMgmt confirmed the deal.

In 2019, White had a big year, putting up 58 tackles, 1 sack and 6 interceptions. Now, we’ll see if he can continue to live up to the investment the Bills have made in him.
