Former LSU DB Ryan Clark shares why he’s excited to watch newest Tigers DB commit

LSU fans were excited Thursday by the commitment of Baton Rouge’s own Major Burns, a 4-star safety looking to be the next DBU stud.
The big announcement from Burns was delivered in an emotional video which pays tribute to his mother and father. If you got the impression that Burns is a high-character future Tiger who will represent the school well, you’re not alone. Ryan Clark, the former LSU defensive back who went on to play in the NFL and become an analyst at ESPN, saw a story about Burns and shared high praise for the newest Tigers pledge.
“(Burns) is as focused and intense a young football player as I have ever seen. He will do everything to improve and succeed. I look forward to watching him grow! Welcome to the family #GeauxTigers,” Clark wrote on Twitter.
