Former LSU DE Zavier Carter makes transfer decision
Former LSU DE Zavier Carter is continuing his college football career out west.
Carter has landed at UNLV after entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to Jacques Doucet of WAFB.

Coming out of Hapeville Charter, Carter was rated 4-stars and the No. 24 linebacker in the 2021 recruiting class. The Atlanta native signed with LSU over 25 other scholarship offers. At LSU, Carter made 18 appearances.
Carter played in 7 games in 2021, his freshman season. He recorded 4 tackles, including 1 for loss, in the Texas Bowl against Kansas State.
This past season, Carter appeared in 11 games for the Tigers, logging 5 tackles. He recorded his first-career sack in LSU’s 63-7 Citrus Bowl blowout win over Purdue.
Carter has 2 full seasons of eligibility remaining. He has not used a redshirt.
