By now, it’s no secret that sustaining concussions while playing football can do permanent damage to a person’s brain.

Former LSU star DL Leonard Marshall, who was inducted to the LSU Hall of Fame in 2008, has stated he’s already suffering from erratic behavior and memory loss, which he believes can be traced back to his football career.

According to The Advocate, Marshall and former star QB Matt Hasselbeck have pledged to donate their brains to science when they die. They announced on Wednesday that their brains can be studied by the Concussion Legacy Foundation.

Marshall won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants after his time at LSU.

Marshall is currently 55 years old. He played for the Tigers from 1979 to 1982.
