Former LSU LB to miss 2023 NFL season with torn pec, per report
Former LSU linebacker Jacob Phillips, a member of the 2019 national championship team and current Cleveland Brown, is expected to miss the entire 2023 NFL season with a torn pec. Phillips suffered the injury during the Browns’ Friday preseason game.
This is the 2nd straight season in which Phillips has torn his pec. He missed 2022 after tearing his pec in October.

Since being selected in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft Phillips has missed 29 games for Cleveland while playing in 20.
Across his career Phillips has totaled 88 tackles with 3 sacks and 5 passes deflected.
