Former LSU safety Ryan Clark speaks to Tigers ahead of Florida game
LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron’s campaign to get former players more involved in the program doesn’t stop at inviting them to practice and the traditional walk down Victory Hill.

Former Tigers safety Ryan Clark spoke to the team on Wednesday, three days before the team’s matchup with No. 18 Florida at 12 p.m. ET Saturday. The Louisiana native played a LSU from 1998-2001 before going undrafted in 2002.
Yet Clark enjoyed a 12-year NFL career with four different teams, during which he won Super Bowl XLIII and was selected to one Pro Bowl. He’s currently an NFL analyst for ESPN.
Orgeron has revitalized the program since taking over for the fired Les Miles on Sept. 25. Dozens of ex-player accompanied the team on its walk to Tiger Stadium last Saturday, some holding a banner that read “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger.”
