After three seasons with the Raiders, former LSU standout Arden Key is looking for a new opportunity.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport shared Thursday that Key was being waived. On Friday, ProFootballTalk reported that Key had not been claimed on waivers, making him a free agent.

Coming off of back-to-back first-team All-SEC seasons, Key was selected by the Raiders in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft with the No. 87 overall pick. Key’s best pro season was his rookie year, 2018. That season, he played in 16 games, starting 10, recording 30 tackles, including 4 for loss and a sack. Over the past two seasons, however, Key hasn’t recorded a start, appearing in 21 games.

For his career, Key has 49 tackles (8 TFL), 3 sacks and 2 passes defended in 37 games.

We’ll see where Key lands next.
