LSU’s top-ranked SEC recruiting class for the 2018 cycle has hit a speed bump as Berwick in-state receiver Kenan Jones announced Friday that he has decommitted from the class.

Jones announced the news of his decommitment via Twitter. The Louisiana receiver originally committed to the Tigers less than a month ago, on Jan. 28.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Jones is rated as a four-star prospect and Louisiana’s No. 7 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Ratings. Jones currently has offers from Ole Miss, Louisville, and Louisiana-Lafayette, in addition to his LSU offer.

The Tigers’ 2018 recruiting class is now down to nine total commits but still ranks as the SEC’s top class early into the latest recruiting cycle.
