Greg McElroy is looking forward to seeing Ole Miss take on LSU in Oxford Saturday.
McElroy made his picks for some of the upcoming games in Week 5 on Friday’s version of Always College Football.
The Tigers got the better of the Rebels last season, winning 45-20 in Baton Rouge. One thing that McElroy highlighted for Ole Miss was establishing the running game. Quinshon Judkins has not been up to par so far.
If Judkins is not able to get right against the LSU defense, it could be another loss for the Rebels for McElroy. He ultimately picked LSU to win on the road.
“This game’s in Oxford, but I think LSU gets it done. I have not at all been impressed with what I’ve seen from the Ole Miss rushing attack. While I like Jaxson Dart, the weapons, and love Quinshon Judkins, if they can’t get the running going this offense is never going to be able to hit its ceiling. I’m not that they wanna get it going against a defensive front that will absolutely tear you apart with their individual personnel matchups along the line of scrimmage.”
LSU and Ole Miss meet in Oxford Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
