The AFC ended up winning Sunday’s Pro Bowl in convincing fashion, cruising to a 26-7 victory over the NFC squad.

Leading the way was Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and New York Jets S Jamal Adams — a former LSU star. For their efforts, they were named the offensive and defensive MVPs of the game.

As you can see below, Adams snagged an impressive interception off of a trick play by the NFC during the third quarter of the game:

Earlier in the game, Adams gave a rude greeting to Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky, picking up a sack:

Mahomes and Adams accepted the Pro Bowl trophy for the AFC squad after the game. Naturally, ESPN announcer Jason Witten broke the trophy while presenting it to Mahomes and Adams:

Adams has quickly become one of the best safeties in the game, and this was a nice ending to his second professional season. We’ll see what he has in store for year three this coming fall.
