Ja’Marr Chase hasn’t seen the field for any meaningful action since LSU beat Clemson for the national championship on Jan. 13, 2020.

Even so, it’s hard to forget the show Chase put on that day.

To end his sophomore season, Chase caught nine passes for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns. While he made the decision to opt-out leading up to the start of the 2020 season, Chase showed no signs of being rusty during LSU’s Pro Day event on Wednesday.

In fact, he may have helped his stock at the event.

Chase registered a vertical jump of 41 inches, a broad jump of 11 feet and a 40-yard dash in just 4.38 seconds.

Needless to say, Chase is living up to the hype as potentially the best prospect in the draft outside of Trevor Lawerence.
