Jay Johnson is doing what he can to make sure LSU plays in front of a packed house this weekend in Baton Rouge.

In advance of the Tigers’ Super Regional matchup vs. Kentucky, Johnson has paid for all student tickets for the weekend.

That gesture was announced by the program on Friday afternoon:

Here’s an excerpt of the note students received from the program this week: “Coach Johnson is paying for all of the student tickets for this weekend to thank you for your strong support all season.”

LSU is the favorite to defeat Kentucky this week and advance to the College World Series. The Tigers are the No. 5 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

LSU also has a trio of All-Americans leading the way in Paul Skenes, Dylan Crews and Tommy White. Skenes is widely regarded as the top college pitcher in the country.

Game 1 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional is set for 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
