Jayden Daniels attends LSU women’s hoops game, receives standing ovation

Jayden Daniels is showing support for his fellow LSU Tiger student-athletes on Thursday Night. The star quarterback and his wide receiver, Malik Nabers, were shown on the jumbotron at the LSU women’s basketball game.

The LSU football stars received a standing ovation at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The women’s basketball team is taking on the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Daniels is in the midst of a legendary season for the Tigers on the football field. The QB is No. 3 in the nation in passing yards with 3,812. This season, Daniels became the first quarterback in NCAA history to eclipse 12,000 career passing yards and 3,000 career rushing yards. He has led the Tigers to a 9-3 record in 2023.

Nabers is in the midst of an incredible season in his own right. The star wideout leads the nation with 1,546 receiving yards and is tied for second in the nation with 14 receiving touchdowns.

The women’s basketball team is coming off of a national championship season. The team has gotten off to a 7-1 start in 2023 and boasts one of the most dynamic offenses in the nation.
