One of the biggest topics across college football as of late has been the status of LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of the Citrus Bowl game contest against the Purdue Boilermakers.
Daniels recently met with the media and discussed his rehabilitation process, noting that he was healthy and fully prepared to go after suffering a lower body injury that drew a lot of concern during the season.
Daniels finished out the regular season with a completion percentage of 68.5%, throwing for 2,774 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions as he’s shown immense progression as a pure passer. Daniels’ dual-threat ability continues to be on display as he rushed for 818 yards this season with 11 scores on the ground.
It will be interesting to see how how continues to move forward as an emerging quarterback, with the bowl game presenting the next opportunity to build on his stock.
