Jayden Daniels discussed what it was like having an experienced offensive line like LSU does. Daniels talked about it with 104.5 ESPN.

Daniels labeled the O-line the “hardest-working unit” on the football team. Daniels understands that if the linemen aren’t on the same page, the offense won’t function as well.

“Very tight knit. They make the offense go. Obviously without them we can’t do anything on the offensive side with the skill positions. I love those guys and what they do together. They’re very tight and together. They dap each other up before each play. They’re probably the hardest-working unit that we have on the team in my personal opinion.”

Jayden Daniels’ first season at LSU was a special one last year. He had 2,913 yards passing with 29 total touchdowns. LSU reached the conference championship in its first season under Brian Kelly.

The offensive line helped block an offense that averaged 453.1 yards per game last season. LSU ranked sixth in the SEC in that stat.

After doing so well in 2022, the expectations will be much higher in 2023. LSU opens the year with a non-conference matchup with Florida State on Sunday.

Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC from Camping World Stadium.
