Joe Burrow breaks Colt Brennan's FBS record for TD passes in a season
LSU QB Joe Burrow has had a magical season, and that’s continuing in tonight’s title game against Clemson.
He has now thrown 59 total touchdowns this season, which breaks former Hawaii QB Colt Brennan’s single-season FBS record.
Below, you can see the throw, which gave LSU a 35-25 lead against Clemson:

He also has the record for the most TDs responsible for in a season, with 64.

Obviously, that’s a huge mark, but more importantly, LSU is racing toward a title, which would be even more important to Burrow.
Will he be able to finish the job and perhaps reach 60 touchdown passes? The game still has a quarter to go.
