Joe Burrow ends the speculation, says he will play for the team that selects him in 2020 NFL Draft
Joe Burrow may have finally smashed the narrative that he won’t play for the Cincinnati Bengals.
While Burrow has never come out and publicly said anything regarding his interest to play outside of Cincinnati, that fact has not stopped many from speculating that the reigning Heisman Trophy winner could force his way out of playing for the Bengals, the franchise that currently owns the No. 1 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
During his media session at the 2020 NFL Combine, which was held in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Burrow was asked if he would consider not playing for the Bengals.
“I’m not going to not play. I’m a ball player,” Burrow answered. “I’m going to show up.”
Here’s a clip of Burrow answering the question.
