The LSU community is having to face reality. Joe Burrow’s time in Baton Rouge is winding down. This week, Burrow officially became a graduate of LSU.
To the surprise of no one, the Heisman Trophy winner received a rousing ovation when he was announced over the PA and walked across the stage. The official Twitter account of LSU football shared a video of Burrow’s graduation on Friday:

All the LSU students (at least the football fans) who were lucky enough to be on campus for Burrow’s final season as student-athlete are sure to remember the events of 2019 (and hopefully the events of Jan. 13, 2020) well for many years to come. It’s safe to say Tigers everywhere consider the Athens, Ohio native one of their own after two memorable seasons on the Bayou.
Burrow and the No. 1 Tigers are just over a week away from facing No. 4 Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.
