That didn’t take long.

Former LSU star Joe Burrow hit the end zone for his first NFL touchdown in his first game with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Burrow looked like a veteran as he waited for a block en route to a 23-yard run against the Los Angeles Chargers. Burrow also excelled passing early on as he started 6-for-10 through the air.

Former Bengals star Boomer Esiason earlier on the NFL on CBS called Burrow something the Cincinnati fans have wanted for a long time.

“The great thing is, he [Joe Burrow] gives the Bengals hope. He gives the fans hope, gives the organization hope. Obviously, [he is] as advertised.”
