Earlier today, we learned Joe Burrow’s favorite moment of the 2019 season. On the LSU website, there are 9 Heisman Moments for No. 9. The Tigers QB believes the defining moment of the season is still to come.
Brooks Kubena of The Advocate caught up with Burrow ahead of Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy ceremony. Kuben asked Burrow to name an “on-filed moment this season he thinks most defines him.”
“I hope I have some more coming up,” Burrow replied. “I think there’s a couple big games that can kind of define our season.”
Kubena followed up, “Nothing yet?”
“Nothing yet.”
Burrow’s confidence that there are still “a couple” games left for LSU is an example of the confidence and swagger that fans love.
Burrow has made it clear that next week, his focus shifts to Oklahoma. The No. 1 Tigers face the No. 4 Sooners on Dec. 28 at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta.
