Joe Burrow sounds like a down to earth kind of guy.

While his current lifestyle surely has a lot to do with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the social distancing policies currently in place in Ohio, it is still funny to think about the likely No. 1 overall selection in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft living in his parent’s basement playing video games all day.

According to his father, Jimmy, that’s exactly what the reigning Heisman Trophy winner has been doing with his time lately.

Jimmy Burrow was recently on “The Paul Finebaum” discussing his son when Joe’s daily routine was brought up by his dad.

“Fortunately, we have a big basement and that’s kinda where Joe has always hung out when he was in high school, he has his video game thing down there,” Burrow said. “Nowadays you can play online without – with people wherever -and talk to them. So, he does a lot of that. We watched almost every episode of ‘The Office’ and ‘Law & Order’. We’re catching up on our food bill, now we remember why we didn’t have any money when he was in high school with his food bill and his mom is back cooking about four or five meals a day.”
