Everyone is still talking about LSU’s win over Texas.

The Tigers beat the Longhorns 45-38 behind Joe Burrow’s 471-yard, four-touchdown performance. It was the coming out party for the Tigers’ new-look offense, and it couldn’t have been more impressive.

With 2:27 left on the clock up 45-31 in the fourth quarter, Burrow and a couple of other LSU players were waving goodbye to Texas fans. At the time, Kirk Herbstreit really didn’t love the wave, “I don’t think he needs to do all that. Just focus and execute.”

Late Tuesday night, Burrow was asked by ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt about his wave.

“Yeah, that was just a little wave,” Burrow told Van Pelt. “They had been talking some trash behind us all night. I had enough of it for a little bit.

Following LSU’s victorious trip to Austin, the biggest story has been whether Texas turned off the air conditioning in LSU’s locker room. Ed Orgeron said in fact they had no A/C, while Texas shot back and said it’s working properly.

It appears that LSU is quite content with making a rivalry with every team in Texas.
