Redshirt junior LSU defensive back Raydarious Jones announced Wednesday afternoon that he would be entering the transfer portal with 2 remaining years of eligibility, a redshirt this season and his Covid-19 eligibility year.
Jones, a former 4-star cornerback out of Horn Lake, Mississippi, was suspended for the 2022 season with academic-related issues.

Jones played his junior year for the Tigers, totaling 9 tackles in a reserve role. He was likely to see some uptick in snaps this season before being suspended by the Tigers program with the above-noted academic issues.
Jones was considered to be the No. 376 player in the country in the 2019 cycle.
