Justice Hill has started 16 games for LSU so far this basketball season. He was not available in Wednesday’s loss to Auburn, and Matt McMahon addressed Hill’s absence moving forward.

According to McMahon, Hill is stepping away from the Tigers program for the time being. The decision is for personal reasons and not for any disciplinary issues, per McMahon. There is currently no timetable for a return for Hill.

Hill has been an important piece for LSU this season with 16 starts and is third on the team while averaging 26.6 minutes per game. He also leads the Tigers with 3.5 assists per game and has averaged 6.9 points, 2 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 30% from the field.

Hill is currently in his first season at LSU after beginning his career at Murray State. We will see if Hill is able to get back onto the court for the Tigers this season.
