Kansas State player restrained by teammates prior to Texas Bowl vs. LSU
The Texas Bowl between LSU and Kansas State is set for a 9 p.m. ET kickoff at NRG Stadium in Houston on Tuesday, but there were a few fireworks before the game.
The Tigers will be led by interim head coach Brad Davis in this one with Brian Kelly looking on. They’ll be looking to end their season with a 7-6 mark, with this being just the 2nd all-time meeting between the 2 teams on the gridiron.
Things became a bit heated during warmups, though.
WAFB-TV sports reporter Jacques Doucet is on hand to cover the game, and he posted a video to his Twitter account of a Wildcats player needing to be restrained by teammates:

It’s obviously tough to tell what was said in the LSU camp to set off the Wildcats player. We’ll see if things spill over to the game or if this was just a case of pent-up emotion needing to be released.
