Khai Prean is staying in the boot!

The composite 4-star wide receiver from St. James School in Vacherie, Louisiana made a verbal commitment to LSU on Tuesday night.

Prean, listed at 6-feet even and 190 pounds, chose the Tigers over a final group that included Auburn, Mississippi State and Florida State.

He released a video of his commitment with the help of On3 Sports.

Prean went into detail on his commitment with Jerit Roser of Tiger Details.

“I just know the decision I’m making is going to best benefit me and my family and all the people that have supported me since Day 1,” he said. “I’m just feeling that moment of excitement that all my hard work has paid off.”

Prean is known for his track speed. He has reported times of 10.94 in the 100 and 21.70 in the 200.

LSU has 21 commitments in the 2023 recruiting class. It’s rated as the  6th best class in the nation according to 247Sports composite rankings.
