Leonard Fournette’s got jokes.

During a meeting with the local media Tuesday, Fournette was asked about his big brother-little brother relationship with backup running back Derrius Guice. His reply?

The junior’s light-hearted joke comes three days after Guice gashed Arkansas for 252 yards, just 32 yards short of the LSU single-game rushing record Fournette set Oct. 22. The two are apparently quite close — TV broadcasts have often shown Fournette celebrating when Guice makes big plays.

Oh, he has had plenty to celebrate.

Guice leads the SEC with 8.7 yards per carry and is actually the Tigers’ leading rusher by 78 yards over Fournette. The sophomore has filled in more than adequately while LSU’s star running back has missed time due to a nagging ankle injury.

But it’s still clear who the big brother is in this scenario.
