Les Miles comments on LSU's Music City Bowl bid, Michigan job
LSU learned its bowl fate on Sunday, drawing Notre Dame in the Music City Bowl. The Tigers will take on the Fighting Irish on Dec. 30 in Nashville, renewing a matchup that’s been dormant since the 2007 Sugar Bowl. Les Miles is on the recruiting trail, but he took the time to speak with reporters over the phone Sunday evening to talk about the bowl game.
Here’s what Miles had to say about the game, the College Football Playoff field and, of course, the Michigan job.
Les Miles: "We're thrilled to extend the streak (of consecutive bowl games) for the university. We see this as a national matchup."
