As head coaching positions around college football continue to get filled, former LSU coach Les Miles is still on the outside looking in.

Many have speculated that the 2007 national champion could spend the 2017 season with ESPN as a TV analyst if he doesn’t land a new position.

On Tuesday, Miles said that’s definitely still a possibility for him as he looks at his 2017 options:

Miles definitely has the pedigree and experience necessary to be one of the best college football analysts in the business.

However, he has expressed an interest in returning to coaching this offseason, so he’s likely still looking for a job. Maybe, though, he should sign on with ESPN for the 2017 season and take a year off before jumping back in the coaching mix in 2018.
