LOOK: Derrius Guice tweets photo following surgery on torn ACL

Following a strong run during his first preseason action with the Washington Redskins, former LSU star RB Derrius Guice went down with a torn ACL.
Obviously, that’s tough news for the young running back, and not what the Redskins wanted for their second-round pick, either.
However, Guice appears to be in good spirits following surgery, and he tweeted out the below photo from his account on Monday evening:

Hopefully, Guice is able to come back at full-strength next season, as he could become a star in the NFL if he can play a full season.
For now, though, he’s on the road to recovery, and we’ll have to see how long it takes him to get back to full speed.
