LOOK: LSU players, fans are irate with officials following end of 7OT loss to Texas A&M
If you thought LSU fans were mad about star LB Devin White being suspended for the first half of the Alabama game, just wait until you see how they responded to Saturday night’s seven-overtime thriller at Texas A&M.
LSU thought it had the game won in regulation, even going as far as to give coach Ed Orgeron a Gatorade bath on the sideline.
However, that wasn’t the case, as officials ruled A&M QB Kellen Mond was down before throwing the supposed game-ending interception.
From there, the biggest call that was made was allowing A&M to spike the ball with one second left when it appeared time had expired (also, while perhaps in an illegal formation). LSU fans and players — and even coach Ed Orgeron — were very disappointed by the officiating after the loss, as you can see below:
It’s hard to win the same game 5 different times

One thing is clear from that press conference: Ed Orgeron thinks this game was robbed from #LSU
He was calm. He was matter of fact about it. He just thinks it was clear-cut that LSU won.

Orgeron: "These guys should have won 10 games. That second shouldn't have been put on the clock." #LSU

I didn’t know you could spike the ball with 1 second left. We could have used that a few years back.

Biggest play of game was not the 1 second being added to the clock it was the non call for this illegal formation on that same play! Unbelievable@LSUfootball pic.twitter.com/La3wCXU57W

Lets count how many times LSU got hosed by these officials.
1. 4th down call at the end of the game.
2. Fumble in OT.
3. That last PI on Greedy.

Let's not forget the LSU/aTm game should have ended with LSU winning the game 30-24 .. but because of an awful non reviewed call by the officials ..

@LSU if y’all want to go to a different conference with legit officials I’ll support the decision. #LSU

The refs are the 12th man tonight. #LSU pic.twitter.com/rd5pMQcNia

1. Delpit intercepts the ball to win. Overturned
2. A&M is an obvious yard short on 4th and 18 which would have ended the game
3. Refs put a second on the clock after A&M spikes the ball when regulation expired
4. A&M fumbles and LSU recovers ending the game. Refs rule incomplete— Harrison Gitz (@hgitz31) November 25, 2018
Not sure how anyone is claiming the LSU vs Texas A&M game is one for the ages when the refs clearly and I mean clearly made 3 mistakes at the end of the 4th quarter, all that favored Texas A&M, and all that were reviewable but not reviewed. Complete joke.

Do LSU fans have a legitimate beef with the refs, or were there bad calls on both sides? Either way, the game is now (finally) over, and both teams have to move forward.
