LSU QB Joe Burrow played one of the toughest games anyone has played all season.
The Tigers signal caller took a huge blindside shot in the first half following a pick-six. The Knights’ lineman found Burrow attempting to make the tackle down the sideline, and he obliterated him. Burrow was seen on the sideline with a cut on his neck following the hit.
But in impressive fashion, Burrow bounced right back unfazed. The QB looked like Tom Brady carving up UCF’s secondary, finishing 21-of-34 for 394 yards and four TDs following the first-quarter INT.
LSU eventually wore UCF down and defeated the Knights 40-32.
The hit on Burrow went viral Tuesday, but Burrow took to Twitter to get the last laugh:
That’s Ight I’ll take the 4 tds and the dub https://t.co/VVDLdQbqNW
