Even though he has left Columbus, Buckeye Nation still loves Joe Burrow.

After graduating from Ohio State, Burrow decided to transfer this summer to LSU for a better opportunity to win the starting QB job. The move seemingly worked out well for both parties. OSU QB Dwayne Haskins has the Buckeyes 3-0 and is putting up video game numbers in the process. Burrow is LSU’s starter and the Tigers are 3-0.

Many of Burrow’s former teammates posted on social media that the QB’s transfer made them new LSU fans. It appears a group of Ohio State students have taken it a step further, sporting the purple and gold and celebrating Burrow at an Ohio State game. Earlier this week, Ohio State’s “Block O” student group announced it was changing its name to “Block Eaux” for Week 4 in tribute to Burrow. The signature Louisiana “eaux” is a fun touch, with the purple and gold making it clear this is about the beloved former Buckeye QB.

Obviously, it will be interesting to see how Ohio State fans and players handle a potential postseason clash with Burreaux and the Tigers.
